Are there few things quite as lovely as a breakfast date? Staying in Shoreditch, we’d tried to go to The Breakfast Club on Saturday morning, but the queue was too long and the weather too hot to wait. But today was a new day, and with a booth in the window, we enjoyed some of the most delicious food we’ve had all weekend. There is so much to choose from! They have traditional breakfasts, along with pancakes, avocado, eggs and all sorts of vegan options. I went for avocado on rye toast, topped with cannellini beans, truffle oil and sea salt. The photos really don’t do it justice! It was divine. Ben had a huge full English and loved it too. Best way to start the day. We’re back up north now, Vietnam visa all sorted and ready to get on with some more travel planning!
