Trebah Gardens, Cornwall

Ah, the hidden paradise of Trebah Gardens. This was such a beautiful find! Sub-tropical gardens in England, who would have thought it. Footpaths wind their way past fern glades, ivy covered fountains and lilypad lakes, with palm trees and rhododendrons flourishing in this unique micro climate. It was so peaceful here, filled with such a variety of flora and fauna. We explored bamboo forests and felt like we’d stepped into the land of giants under the huuuge Gunnera leaves. The views from the top of the gardens stretched away beneath us, revealing a landscape that felt far away from green fields of England.
